Believe in the Hail Mary.
Science teacher Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction.
Project Hail Mary starts as confusing for you, as the viewer, as it does for its protagonist. The out-of-sequence storytelling is perfect for this movie and the cinematography is beautiful. Although on the longer side, completely worth the time. You'll laugh while on the edge of your seat, you may even cry, but you likely won't guess the ending.
