Corrections Policy

KazooWatch corrects material factual errors and distinguishes a correction from an ordinary update or copy edit.

Material corrections

When a published factual error could change a reader’s understanding, the article should be corrected promptly and a clear correction or editor’s note should identify what changed. The publication date remains the original publication date; a meaningful update may also display an updated date.

Minor edits and updates

Spelling, punctuation, formatting, link repair, and other changes that do not alter the substance may be corrected without a formal note. New information added to a developing story should be identified as an update when it materially expands the article.

Request a correction

Send the article URL, the specific passage, and supporting evidence through the official KazooWatch contact form. Every request is reviewed; disagreement with a review or opinion is not by itself a factual correction.
