Not Here
Sometimes, Choices Mean Leaving
In rural Texas, Sarah recognizes a familiar pair of cowboy boots and begins to question the life she thought she knew. Her neighbor Jack is confronting a betrayal of his own. As their marriages quietly unravel, Sarah turns to him for help with a deeply personal decision. One that may require leaving Texas. Inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love and Ernest Hemingway’s Hills Like White Elephants, NOT HERE is a story about betrayal, bodily autonomy, and the distance we travel to reclaim control over our own lives.
Directed by Cassius Michael Kim
Starring Katie Parker, Shane Coffey, Ethan Daniel Corbett, Brittany Hoffner, Joseph Lopez
