Netflix Renews HAUNTED HOTEL for Season 3, Sets 2027 Return

Netflix is bringing its animated horror comedy back for another season after the show's October return.

Netflix is checking back into HAUNTED HOTEL.

The streamer announced October 30 that its animated horror comedy will return for a third season in 2027.

The renewal follows Season 2’s October 9 premiere, making this a relatively quick decision for a show built around an unusual mixture of family dysfunction, supernatural trouble and comedy.

Netflix has not provided a specific third-season premiere date or confirmed the episode count. Creator Matt Roller previously said scripts for another season had been completed. That is encouraging for the show’s future, although completed scripts are not the same thing as a confirmed production or release schedule.

Netflix reported that Season 2 reached its global English-language television Top 10 in its second week, drawing 2.7 million views. Those figures are company measurements and should not be confused with independently audited audience totals.

The most interesting possibility is that HAUNTED HOTEL could become a returning fixture on Netflix’s Halloween calendar.

Two October seasons have given the show a recognizable seasonal identity. The third-season order now provides an opportunity to build on it, even though

Netflix has committed publicly only to a 2027 return.
