Seven Skydance TV Executives Set to Exit After Warner Bros. Merger

A staff memo outlines the latest leadership departures as the combined company's television operations take shape.

The reshaping of Skydance’s television business is continuing, with seven executives set to leave following its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.

TheWrap reports that co-chair and chief business officer JB Perrette informed employees of the changes in a memo Thursday, October 29.

The departing executives are Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke, Domenic DiMeglio, Marco Nobili, Pank Patel and Juan Sola.

The move follows a separate leadership announcement the day before. Warner Bros. Television Group’s Channing Dungey and Paramount Television Studios’ Matt Thunell will continue in their respective roles as the combined company organizes its television operations.

The departures mark another concrete consequence of consolidation: overlapping leadership positions are being reconsidered as previously separate entertainment businesses become one organization.

For viewers, the immediate consequences are still uncertain. The memo does not establish that any particular series is canceled, renewed or moving between platforms. But the decisions about who controls programming and distribution will help shape what the combined studios make next.

TheWrap has reported the staff memo; individual departure dates have not been independently confirmed.
