A friendship with major red flags.
When a U.S. Navy pilot on a top-secret mission during the Cold War gets trapped behind enemy lines, his only chance at survival is to form an alliance with an eccentric ex-KGB agent.
This is my favorite kind of movie: a fun, fast-paced adventure that had me laughing out loud from the edge of my seat. Kenneth Branagh is outstanding as the Russian Jackie Chan, tearing through so many ridiculously cool hand-to-hand combat sequences that grown men will squeal with glee.
The only thing that didn't make much sense was the CIA sending in a 50-year-old pilot, but maybe Ryan Reynolds is still pretending he's in his 20s. Either way, it's hardly enough to derail this train of action-packed fun.
HELL YEAH!
