KazooWatch ratings and verdicts

Buddy Crap

BUDDY plays like a practical joke by the stars of this movie. Someone gave someone a budget to make something terrible. This steaming pile of cinema is a fever dream from hell. If you found value in this, you might have terrible taste. Enough already... gawd. What did they do to Keegan-Michael Key?

Nobody 2 Hell Yeah

This movie is AWESOME. Great sequel to one of the best action movies I've ever seen. It's only a HELL YEAH because nothing can ever out-do the first one.

Nobody Kazoo

This movie gets me so excited that it makes me pee a little. You are going to love the ride this Action-Packed film takes you on. Special props to Christopher Lloyd because he's still got it.

Wicker Pretty Good

An interesting fairy tale complete with mysterious magical basketmaker, and a wicker husband. Peter Dinklage steals the show. Check out the official KazooWatch review in KazooWatch Newsroom.

Forever Young Pretty Good

I probably owe this one a rewatch because it's old enough that it might not hold up one bit, but I always enjoyed this interesting time-spanning romance frozen in time. It reminded me that Elijah Wood and I grew up together. Worth a watch if you want a Date-Night Classic Film.

The Simpsons Pretty Good

After nearly 40 seasons on the air, it's hard for any show to stay fresh. Somehow, the Simpsons manages to still deliver great episodes occasionally. Worth watching, but definitely doesn't have the magic it once did.

The Daily Show Hell Yeah

Jon Stewart is the GOAT. After years away, he can be seen on TDS again on Monday nights. For anyone in the middle of the road politically.

Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story Kazoo

MONSTER turns an unsolved case into a gripping emotional argument, even when history gets bent to make it work. Charlie Hunnam owns as Mr. Borden. Messy, provocative and exceptionally acted, it earns a KAZOO!

Primetime Eh

Primetime is stylish, uncomfortable and occasionally thoughtful, but its criticism of sensationalized journalism falls apart when it sensationalizes Chris Hansen to make the point. Pattinson commits, Oppenheim has ideas, and I still left feeling like I needed a shower. Verdict: EH.

Dexter: Resurrection Hell Yeah

Great continuation series for sure. Watch DEXTER and NEW BLOOD first if this is new to you. HELL YEAH!

The Shield Kazoo

One of the greatest shows ever on TV. Michael Chiklis is incredible as Vic Mackey, a heroic, dirty cop desperately trying to hold his family together while his own choices send everything else spiraling out of control. This one gets a **KAZOO** for being the kind of show I will never, ever get tired of.

Mayday Hell Yeah

This is my favorite kind of movie: a fun, fast-paced adventure that had me laughing out loud from the edge of my seat. Kenneth Branagh is outstanding as the Russian Jackie Chan, tearing through so many ridiculously cool hand-to-hand combat sequences that grown men will squeal with glee. The only thing that didn't make much sense was the CIA sending in a 50-year-old pilot, but maybe Ryan Reynolds is still pretending he's in his 20s. Either way, it's hardly enough to derail this train of action-packed fun. HELL YEAH!

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Hell Yeah

Strange New Worlds is the story of Captain Pike and his crew on their 5 year mission aboard the starship Enterprise. Chronologically in the Star Trek universe, it precedes the original series with Captain Kirk. The show can be vastly different between episodes: sometimes silly, sometimes serious; you never quite know what antics you'll see, but it's always enjoyable for Trekies. For a full breakdown of what we think, check out our NewsRoom article on the 60th anniversary of Star Trek.

Coyote vs. Acme Hell Yeah

"It is silly without being stupid. It knows the history of these characters without treating them like museum pieces. And underneath all the explosions, anvils and cartoon violence, there is even a genuinely good little underdog story in there."
